![]() I put half peanut butter and half Nutella on it so she could have a choice of what she wanted. Today we tried toast with some cut up grapes and blueberries. We also had a very in-depth conversation about cutting back snacks and different ways to let her eat/graze if she wants to play and eat. I didn’t respond to everyone bc I didn’t want to seem like I was repeating myself every every comment but I read all the comments and took some of your advice.Īfter my husband got off work, we went to the store and bought a larger variety of fruits to try to get her to try and see if she likes them. Thank you to everyone who commented with advice, it really means a lot to me. I feel guilty for letting her live off of cheese crackers, puffs and applesauce pouches but I don’t know what else to do. I’m not forceful but I feel horrible for basically forcing her to take a bite. Sometimes she won’t even try it.īad mom moments but sometimes I’ll hold her head (very gently!!!! I’m not pinning her down or anything!!!) and try to put a bite in her mouth and she just screams. She just plays with it and doesn’t eat anything. I’ll take a bite in front of her and act like it’s the best thing in the world but she just smiles and tries to feed me more. ![]() I’ve tried giving it to her on a plate, on just the high chair tray, putting it on the table and letting her play and graze at the same time. I’ll let her sit in the chair for a while for lunch and then after I’ll give her an applesauce pouch or some other form of snack and she’ll devour it. She just won’t eat the food I give her for meals. I end up just giving her snacks after she refuses to eat because I know if I don’t, she’ll go hungry. ![]() ![]() She just tore them apart and threw the pieces on the floor.Īt dinner, she eats whatever we eat and she’ll eat then, but breakfast is a hit or miss everyday and lunch is just not happening. Today was mini chocolate chip pancakes because I KNOW she loves chocolate. ![]() It’s scrambled eggs, toast, PB sandwiches, quesadillas, pizza, basic stuff. And I’m no chef in the kitchen, it’s not like I’m making some fancy refined foods. I wanna start this off with I am NOT starving my kid.īut, almost 19 months old and she refuses to eat meals I make her. ![]()
