Thanks for the great help! The only thing that keeps me from buying The Riftbreaker is the inability to zoom out much. Looking forward to it releasing on the main branch to increase replay. It just added a map generator to the Beta branch. Lumencraft has individual maps of varying difficulty that are played without a story. Riftbreaker also seems like it has a much larger map, and it has a cohesive storyline. In terms of difficulty, I have a much harder time with Lumencraft, but that might mean i just suck. I play them both and they are both awesome games. On paper, they seem similar, but they play very differently. Riftbreaker is more of a base building game with resource gathering elements, focusing on defending against increasingly larger waves. Lumencraft is focused primarily on digging through terrain for 2 main resources to upgrade the player/build a base around a central core, while dealing with bugs that pop out of the ground when you dig them up, and bugs spawning from nests in increasingly larger waves, culminating in a "big boss" in the final wave.
